Looking for a less expensive way to learn something new and expand my capabilities. And maybe I could do something else while it works. And safer because I wouldn't have to hold the machine with the spinning death bits in my hands. When I take the G-code to mach3 and run the program, my Z is backwards. During this time, the Mach series has evolved into the best available PC. When I run the simulation in Fusion 360 every thing seems ok. Artsoft has been in the CNC industry since 2001.

It seems like a CNC with a spindle would be quieter. I have a question, I am using Fusion 360 for my design software and Mach3 for the CNC. It seems like it handles some router table functions. I envision using it for cabinet panels, 3D carving, signs, intricate curves, dadoes, etc. The cost of my wooden machine complete less software was less than what it would have cost me just for the 8020 extrusion. I like the idea of buying the parts as I go as to not affect the household budget too much. I'm thinking about doing a Gatton CNC machine.
